Can a single application be made for multiple categories?
Yes. Every candidate has to submit only one application mentioning all categories in which one wants to avail reservation.
What documents I need to bring at the time of physical verification?
The candidate should refer to Information Brochure – 2018, regarding the documents which he/she has to bring at the time of reporting/counseling
Can I withdraw my allotted seat and seek refund?
Yes, a candidate, who takes provisional admission and wants to cancel his/her allotted seat can do so by following the withdrawal procedure mentioned in Information Brochure - 2018. Further the refund rules are also mentioned in it. After reporting at the allotted institute, the refund rules will be applicable as per the norms of the allotted institute.
My university/Board provides only grades/CGPA.
All the grade/CGPA must be converted into an equivalent score out of 100 or by using the approved grade conversion formula of your University/College without the use of decimals. The CBSE grade points have to be converted into percentage by using the approved CBSE grade conversion formula.
Do I need to apply separately for admission even after appearing in CAT 2017?
Yes, the candidate has to apply separately for University of Jammu as well.
What would I do if I forgot my password?
The additional information provided by the candidate at the time of registration will be used to get the new password.
If I've been denied admission, may I appeal the decision?
We're well aware of the significant investment applicants make while participating in our selection process, and we appreciate the effort of all our applicants. Accordingly, the Admissions Committee reviews each candidacy with great care and thoughtful consideration. The review process is extremely thorough, and all decisions are final. There is no process for appeal.
Do you offer any distance learning and/or part-time opportunities?
We do not offer part-time or on-line MBA opportunities. Our MBA program is full-time for two years and is on-campus only
What is the application fee and how can I pay it?
The non-refundable application fee is Rs. 1000 and can be paid online by debit/credit card of any nationalized bank or through Net Banking. Applications are incomplete until payment is received.
Any candidate who find difficulty in Online Payment after submission of form can transfer the amount of Rs 1000/-(exclusive of transaction charges) in the form of NEFT in favour of "Director, The Business School, Jammu University" in J&K Bank, New University Campus Branch Account Number 0345040100004383, IFSC Code is JAKAOCANAAL .
After transferring the amount in this mode, candidate is required to deposit the receipt of this transaction as well as his Form Registration Number in the Office of The Business School at the earliest to enable quick process.
